Most of the Cowboys from Texas after delivering their cattle to the Train Rail head, or end of the trail, would return to Texas. But some liked the place where they ended up, and decided to stay and settle down, One of those Cowboys was Bob Leavitt. Bob Leavitt had worked for the XIT Ranch in Montana for many years, and when he hung up his spurs and rope, he settled near Mile City, Montana, on a windswept plain. He opened up a Saloon, called Bob’s Saloon-Golden Grain Belt Beers”.
